Established in 1989 (by husband and wife team Rod and Liz Allison) as a quality bespoke picture framing service, we expanded into new premises which now includes a large gallery area. Here we have sought to develop a catalogue of contemporary artistic excellence from a variety of disciplines incorporating traditional through to purely abstract work.
We are proud to offer an extensive range of artwork which includes a comprehensive list of collectable limited editions together with highly sought after pieces of original artwork by internationally acclaimed artists. We also encourage local and raw new talent.
We occasionally hold exhibitions, which have included such prestigious names as Graham Illingworth and Janet Rogers, and our preview evenings are much enjoyed. The friendly atmosphere at Gallery 42 combines with a professional approach to customer satisfaction.
Our sister company, Calcaria Art, has produced limited edition prints which have proved to be very popular.
